GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Craig Brasfield, who for two seasons has led the Grand Prairie AirHogs as Vice President and General Manager, has announced his resignation from the club, effective immediately.
After helping Southern Independent Baseball’s sister club in Shreveport to the 2010 American Association championship in two seasons there, Brasfield moved over to the AirHogs when SIB purchased the club, just before the 2011 season. In his two years at QuikTrip Park, Brasfield helped the AirHogs to increased attendance, revenue, and of course the 2011 championship season.
“It has been a great honor for me to work here and meet all the great people associated with the AirHogs,” Brasfield said. “I wish everyone the best in continuing the work we have done at QuikTrip Park in the last two years and on a larger scale with Gary Elliston, Scott Berry and Southern Independent Baseball for the last four years.”
The Grand Prairie AirHogs thank all of the people who made the 2012 season such a success. Check back at the team’s official Web site www.airhogsbaseball.com for the 2013 schedule and any other off-season news as develops.
