GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Due to the heavy rains Wednesday evening at QuikTrip Park, the scheduled game between the Grand Prairie AirHogs and the Laredo Lemurs has been postponed. According to league rules, the game will be made up on Monday, June 11 as part of a doubleheader, starting at 6:05 p.m.
Both games that day will be scheduled for seven innings. The AirHogs will honor this week’s “School’s out for summer (almost!) week,” with all GPISD students, teachers and staff getting free tickets and $5 tickets for anyone accompanying them during that doubleheader.
The 2011 American Association Champion Grand Prairie AirHogs now head to El Paso for a four-game series against the Diablos, starting Thursday, June 7, at 8:05 p.m. The AirHogs return home on Monday for the twinbill with the Lemurs.
All games are aired live and for free on Ustream by clicking on the link on the AirHogs’ home page or visiting http://www.ustream.tv/channel/airhogs-baseball with selected contests aired on Time Warner Cable’s Texas Channel.
