GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – With the college hoops postseason gearing up on Thursday, the Grand Prairie AirHogs have announced the return of the Ace Bacon Bracket Challenge, with great prizes up for the shrewdest bracketeers – if you can beat the Great Ace.
Fans can sign up by the first game on Thursday at Ace’s Facebook page. Any entry that beats Ace’s will get a four-pack of tickets good for any AirHogs’ 2012 regular season home game.
The grand prize for the top scorer – assuming it’s not Ace – will get a multi-day, once-in-a-lifetime experience that includes the chance to sit in the dugout during an AirHogs game, have a suite or pool party and other great AirHogs gear.
The 2011 American Association Champion Grand Prairie AirHogs begin the defense of their title on Thursday, May 17, against the Laredo Lemurs at 7:30 p.m. The 2012 home opener is Monday, May 21, at 7:05 p.m. against the El Paso Diablos. Check back at the team’s official Web site www.airhogsbaseball.com for any other off-season news as develops.
