GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Single game tickets to the 2012 Grand Prairie AirHogs season will go on sale on Friday, March 16, at the annual “St. Patty O’Party” at QuikTrip Park.
The defending American Association champions begin their 50-game home schedule on May 21, against the El Paso Diablos and conclude it on Monday, September 3, against the Amarillo Sox.
The AirHogs have lowered the top two ticket prices from last season, with box seats (the first eight rows) down from $13 to $12 per ticket, and reserved seats (everything else) are down to $8 from $9 in 2011.
A new seating option at QuikTrip Park for 2012 is the revamped Officers’ Club, located indoors on the suite level. With air-conditioned comfort, outdoor seating and a private bar, the Officers’ Club offers the best of both worlds for just $15 per ticket.
Gates to the ballpark for the St. Patty O’Party open at 10 a.m. and the celebration goes until 8 p.m. The party, which is free to attend, features fast-pitch games, a dunk tank, $1 hot dogs, hamburgers and of course green beer, live music, a chance to run the bases, vendor booths and all of the day’s college hoops action on the video board.
The 2012 St. Patty O’Party is sponsored by Beyond Web Solutions, the Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation Department, Grand Bank of Texas, Parkland Community Health plan, the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Prairie Reporter.
