Skip Boyden, Play-by-Play Announcer
Veteran sports announce Skip Boyden will handle all the play-by play action and a host of new comers will join him to add the color/analyst commentary and interviews during the broadcast. Skip Boyden brings over 25 years of broadcast experience to the AirHogs and this will be Skip's third year in the broadcast booth for the Airhogs as play-by-play announcer and executive producer of the broadcast.
Skip’s media expertise ranges from radio, television, cable and satellite broadcasting. Skip started his career in radio and television in Lawton, OK and continued in Tampa, FL and Dallas, TX, before he crossed-over to cable and satellite in Denver, CO and Los Angeles, CA. Skip has done everything from announcing to managing of broadcast operations for major market stations and companies.
Skip has announced countless games from baseball, football, basketball and soccer at the high school, college, semi-pro and pro levels. Skip has also managed broadcast sporting events from the Summer Olympic Games, World Cup Soccer and DirecTV’s major sports packages. Skip is also the Kansas City Chiefs TV play-by-play pre-season back-up announcer for the 2010 upcoming NFL season.
Skip currently owns and operates SkipStarSports Media Broadcast Producers the newest premier sports broadcast outlet for professional minor league sports teams. Skip also spends time coaching tennis, basketball and volleyball at Cistercian and Providence, two private schools in the DFW area.
