1. How did you find out about the AirHogs and what was it about the organization that sold you on coming aboard for the inaugural season?

A: I found out about the organization from Chris Carmunicci who works for the Atlantic City Surf in the Ventura Sports Group. He asked me if I had an interest in managing for Grand Prairie, and at that point I said yes. Having lived in the Dallas Metroplex for 22 years, the idea of continuing my coaching and managing career in my own backyard was appealing. I actually flew to Pensacola and sat down for a few hours with Mark Schuster and Roger Christoph, the two owners of the group. It was really the people of the organization including the owners and the General Manager who sold me on coming aboard. I felt we fit well together and were on the same page.
